Ways to Give

Digital StillCameraMission Greenspoint is fortunate to receive financial support from many individuals, churches, corporations and a supporting foundation. As a not-for-profit organization  that does not rely on government or United Way funding, these gifts are very important to Mission Greenspoint’s ability to provide compassionate care for families and individuals in need.

Our annual operating budget is $500,000. This does not include in-kind gifts such as the pizza donations, food drives, clothes and other similar donations made. God continually blesses MG throughout the year to meet every need.

Mission Greenspoint services 16 zip codes – 1,200 square miles of the Aldine/North Houston area. The Aldine ISD is represented in this area. Aldine ISD reports that 84% of their school population is at or below the poverty level. Many families in this area face difficult times during this current economy. In 2009, individuals of all ages that received assistance numbered approximately 12,000. Your generous support has a direct impact on helping families and individuals who are struggling to meet their every day needs.

Tribute Gifts are welcomed year-round and are a unique way to support Mission Greenspoint while honoring or memorializing friends, loved ones, anniversaries, birthdays, or other special occasions. A contribution to Mission Greenspoint in honor of someone special can serve as a meaningful gift, both for the honoree and for the thousands of families who benefit from Mission Greenspoint assistance programs and services. We will send an acknowledgement informing your designated contact that a gift was made in honor of or in memorial to them.
